WELLNESS WEDNESDAY

What is Wellness? Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy life.
Every Wednesday the Health Service's Team will be posting information so you can increase your knowledge, assisting you to make healthy decisions.
The topic this week is Nutrition!
Along with maintaining routines for schoolwork, playtime and bedtime, keeping a routine of eating healthy meals and snacks is also very important during this pandemic. Here are some tips to get healthy meals and snacks into your schedule throughout the day. Start your day with a healthy breakfast!

If you are facing immediate hunger, your local food bank can provide information on food pantries and local programs where you can get access to free food.  Call the PROJECT BREAD Food Service Hotline at (800)645-8333. Click here for Project Bread Organization and Find a Local Food Bank

As a reminder, lunch and breakfast (for the next day) are available at the following school sites from 11:00a.m. to noon each day (Atherton Hough Elementary School, Clifford Marshall Elementary School, Lincoln Hancock Community School, Montclair Elementary School, Parker Elementary School, North Quincy High School, Quincy High School and Snug Harbor Community School).
